The Vision for Small Groups at Chilliwack Alliance Church is to connect people into groups of four to twelve who come together on a regular basis for a common purpose. The group is led by an identified leader who is assisting the group in their progress by providing full devotion to Jesus Christ. This is done intentionally by providing an environment for connection, community and spiritual formation.
We also want people to know that our Small Groups are a place where there is always a seat at the table of community. We are the body of Christ, the family of God, a community of followers devoted to Christ and His cause. As we come together in small communities, we are better able to fulfill our mission connecting people to passionately pursue Jesus Christ. If you are interested in joining a small group, contact Pastor Matt Mordaunt.
Women meet weekly to participate in a Bible study or take the time to listen to the joys and struggles of our International Workers. Not only are the women involved in small group discussions but they reach out into the local and global community in a variety of ways.
Mom to Mom "Growing Together: Growing a Child = Growing a Mom"
This is a curriculum designed to equip, encourage, and energise moms in the most important job in all the world - raising children. This biblically based material grows out of the promise that as we "grow" our children, God is growing us.
Our sessions each Wednesday morning include worship, a DVD teaching time, discussion, connection & interaction with other moms & leaders, and - of course - coffee & snacks! Child care from 0-5 years is provided. Come and check us out!
