General information about your donations

For all donations, please provide your legal name and address for tax receipt purposes.  


Tax receipts are available by mid January by logging in to our Online Community.  As of the first week of February we will also offer a paper copy for pick up at the church office, for those who are unable to print their receipt at home.   Any envelopes not picked up by the last week of February will be put in the mail.


Restricted Giving Policy

Spending of funds is confined to board approved programs and projects.   Each contribution directed toward an approved program or project will be used as restricted with the understanding that when the need for such a program or project has been met, or cannot be completed for any reason as determined by the board, the remaining restricted contributions will be used where most needed.

Give in Person

The traditional choice!  Giving  during the week is always welcomed as it gives us a chance to say hello.   Our temporary office hours are 10-2 (during Covid).


We accept Cash, Cheque, MasterCard, Visa and Debit  


Give Through our App or Website

To get started simply include the amount you want to give, select your preferred frequency, and click Next.

You will then be prompted to create your account. This takes just a few seconds to fill out the initial information. You can go back to fill out your profile at a later time.

     

Click Sign Up to continue through the process. You will be emailed a verification code to validate your email address. Enter that code on the screen and select Next.


Next, you can add your donation method.


Once you've added your card information, your church/organization may require you provide a mailing address. If so, you will need to fill out your address information before you can submit your gift. Once complete, you can review and complete your gift - you're done!



Give by Pre-Authorized Debit

This is a great option for those who have a regular amount they give each month.   To get started all we would need is a void cheque and instructions on how you would like to designate your gift.   Your donation would be automatically taken from your bank account on the 4th or the 16th (or both if you prefer).  You can adjust your donation amount or cancel at any time.

Give Through Online Banking

Many people love the convenience of giving directly through their online banking.  You can set this up to be a repeating gift or enjoy the flexibility of choosing your desired amount each time.


To start log into your bank account and look for the option to "Add a payee".   Type in Chilliwack Alliance Church and when prompted for an account number simply add in your offering envelope number.   If you are unsure of what this number is please email Lynsey
